SPIRITUALITY IN LUX RELIGION

The project, starting from the study of different kinds of light, invites us to think about the relationship between man and celebration, man and light. Sunlight, moonlight, starlight, lightning, sparks, torches, hearths, lampposts, headlights, neon, pixels, oleds: from a primordial element, light has become an essential component of civilization. The installation presents itself, abstractly,   as a temple where  reunification with the essence of the luminaria takes place, recovering  a family dimension now dissolved in common feeling, almost the fulcrum around which the project is identified. The illuminations, through a simple  gesture of reversal, emulate the entrance to the temple itself by recalling a staircase that pushes the eye upwards and puts the viewer in front of the light and its wonderful glow.

SPIRITUALITY IN  COLLECTIVE SPACES

The project starts from the study of votive aedicules and from the analysis of the exchange relationship between individuals and urban places of  devotion. By changing the scale of the icon, the dimension between man and spirituality is reversed. We need environments that offer access to the sacred or, better, that put us in relation to life itself, in its sacredness. In an increasingly urbanized world with a multifaceted identity, there is a need to participate both in what could be called a "micro-place", a space with satisfactory houses and neighborhoods, and in a "macro-place", an expression of urban planning marked by its signification of  expanded connections. When we talk about the city, we are talking about person to person interaction and  person- environment-city interaction. The design of public space allows people to get to know each other, to interact with each other and create memories. The project aims to rethink the concept of cities as the "canvas of consumption", by inserting autonomous places in which to stop to meet one another and question the meaning of life.
