Francesco Zorzi teaches Visual Design & Representation at MADE Program.
Born in Milan in 1985, he lives and works in Amsterdam. After earning an MA in Product Design from the Politecnico di Milano, he moved to the Netherlands in 2012 to work as a design assistant at Studio Formafantasma. In 2015, he founded No-Rocket in Amsterdam, a multidisciplinary creative lab that operates at the intersection of design, visual arts, and illustration. His work is characterized by a fresh, experimental approach and a highly tactile aesthetic, even when working with digital mediums.
Over the years, he has developed independent projects exhibited at the Dutch Design Week in Eindhoven and the Salone del Mobile in Milan, blending the boundaries between design and visual arts. In 2016, his work was selected for the Walk&Talk Residency in the Azores. In 2017, he designed the exhibition setup for the 100th anniversary of Ettore Sottsass at the Design Museum Den Bosch. In 2018, he was awarded the Tiffany & Co. Research Grant in Design at the American Academy in Rome.
