Studio for Representation is an intensive experimental workshop with a very practical approach that concentrates on the study and application of collage and assemblage. Guided by Francesco Zorzi of Studio No Rocket students gain practical experience with the rules of visual communication, the use of color, and the composition of figurative and abstract representations.
The practice of collage is a preparatory exercise for the practice of art and design that trains students to a critical vision, starting from existing paper materials which are selected, combined, and reformulated with a very precise communicative aim. A technique that brings together design and manual skills, stimulating a free creativity that must at the same time respect defined limitations and formats.
