Duilio Forte is the professor of the Design Laboratory at the Academy of Fine Arts of Siracusa MADE Program.
An Italian and Swedish artist, he graduated in architecture from the Polytechnic University of Milan and founded AtelierFORTE. His works are inspired by imaginary, extinct animals, drawing from mythology, particularly Scandinavian, through the ArkiZoic rule. The Sleipnir series, inspired by Odin's legendary horse, includes 51 monumental wooden works (10-15 m in height).
He has participated in the XI and XII International Architecture Biennale of Venice and the XXI International Milan Triennale, and has exhibited in Sweden, Switzerland, France, Poland, Italy, Monte Carlo, Slovakia, South Korea, China, and the USA. His work has been featured in numerous newspapers, magazines, and TV programs, including Rai 5, Sky Arte, RSI, Dezeen, Il Corriere della Sera, La Repubblica, Domus, Interni, Life China, and the New York Times.4o
