The second and third year Design students, led by Francesco Faccin, designed bunk beds used to set up the micro hostel which, every summer, hosts the participants in MADE Summer (www.madesummer.it),
The wooden panels, the only material used to make the beds, were cut at Disè, a company specializing in the production of design and high-end furniture, using computer numerical control (CNC) machines, and assembled by the students using universal joints provided by PlayWood. No screws or nails, and not even a drop of glue were sacrificed for this project! :-)
