ADOBE FICUS
The prickly pear has always been an important symbolfor Sicily. Everywhere you go on the island to explore hidden corners of the region you run into this majestic and invasive plant.
The prickly pear is used in many economic sectors and in the past it was also used in farmhouses as a protection against fires, being a fire-resistant plant. Hence the idea to make an Adobe brick, using the palm of the prickly pear in place of water.
