Luca Marullo is a lecturer in Project Methodology at the Accademia di Belle Arti di Siracusa MADE Program.
Born in Catania in 1989, Luca Marullo received his education at the Istituto Statale d'Arte and later at the Faculty of Civil Architecture at the Politecnico di Milano Bovisa. From 2009 to 2015, he founded and participated in the research activities of the group IRA-C (Interaction, Research, and Architecture in Context of Crisis). In 2010, alongside Stefano Colombo and Eugenio Cosentino, he co-founded the research and design studio Parasite 2.0, which won the 2016 edition of the YAP (Young Architects Program) award organized by MAXXI Museum of 21st Century Arts. Between 2014 and 2017, Marullo served as an Assistant Professor at the Politecnico di Milano and taught at NABA Nuova Accademia di Belle Arti in Milan from 2015 to 2017. Since 2016, he has been a professor at the MADE Program at the Accademia di Belle Arti R. Gagliardi in Siracusa. Parasite 2.0 is represented by the Galleria Operativa Arte Contemporanea in Rome and the Galleria Corraini Arte Contemporanea in Mantova.
