Emilio Messina teaches Photography within the Animation & CGI course at the MADE Program.
Emilio is a landscape photographer and nature guide. He lives and works at the foot of Mount Etna, where he explores the lesser-known and unspoiled areas of Sicily. With a background as a visual performer, he has created 3D video mapping for various brands, including Audi, Heineken, MTV, and Ceres. His photographs and articles have been published in numerous national newspapers, books, and magazines, such as “Le montagne incantate,” National Geographic, Times, Daily Mirror, New York Post, Seattle Times, Le vie dei tesori, and Incontri. He is the co-author of the books “Borghi di Sicilia” (Dario Flaccovio Editore) and “Sicilia vulcanica” (Moroni Editore). He took part in several solo and group photography exhibitions. He has collaborated on the production of commercials, TV programs, and event reports for brands like Rai, Euronics, Air Malta, Samsung, MTV, Mediaset, Telecom, Gazzetta dello Sport, Eastpak, Diesel, Smau, Anas, and Enel.
