Alessio Romeo is a professor of Technology and Digital Applications at the MADE Program, Academy of Fine Arts in Syracuse.
Alessio is a motion designer originally from Messina and now based in Syracuse. He graduated in Communication Design at the Politecnico di Milano, he worked as a graphic designer with H-art, a young web agency born within H-Farm, the successful technology incubator operating between Treviso and Venice. He specialized in web design for companies such as Diesel, Mediaset, Telecom, and Illy. Following the acquisition of H-art by the London agency Akqa, he had the opportunity to work as an art director and motion designer with various international entities, creating numerous multimedia installations, including those for Nike (“We Run Milano”) and Elle Decor (Palazzo Bovara, Salone del Mobile 2016, 2017). After moving to Sicily in 2011, he has continued to collaborate from Catania with the network of clients and agencies he established during his time in Treviso, Venice, and Milan. Since 2018, he has also been working with Red Raion, overseeing recent multimedia installations for “FICO,” the Bologna theme park dedicated to the agro-food sector and Eataly gastronomy.
