Aldo Lanzini

Aldo Lanzini teaches Methodology of Design (Fashion Diary) within the Fashion & Textile Design course at MADE.

His research in the visual arts favors the intersection of artistic disciplines, from performance to installations, employing crochet techniques to create masks and sculptural costumes, and the conception and dissemination of "Illegal Aliens" (soft toys as fetishized sculpture).

His creative process is influenced by daily life, which he transforms into a celebration of lightheartedness and joy. This influences theater and dance, fashion and music, set and costume design, sewing and drawing, traversing through philosophy and poetry.

His art, particularly influenced by his time spent in New York’s alternative club scene in the mid-nineties, has been showcased in numerous exhibitions and editorial projects, academic theses, theatrical performances, and collaborations with fashion and design houses across various countries from Europe to America.
