Siremuse

On the occasion of the opening of the new Siremuse gallery, third-year Visual Arts students from the MADE Program collaborated on the design and development of the space’s visual identity, turning a concrete assignment into a collective cultural communication project.

The students reinterpreted key figures from the city’s history and imagination with original illustrations, identifying them as the true narrators of the museum. Each character was associated with a distinctive pattern capable of conveying their personality and transforming into a recognizable graphic sign. These patterns, beyond giving voice to the chosen protagonists, became the symbols of Siremuse’s identity, applied to merchandise, communication materials, and internal signage.

The project was guided by Professor Francesca Pavese, in collaboration with Civita, and allowed students to engage in all phases of the creative process: from historical and iconographic research to visual synthesis, and finally to practical implementation in communication tools.

The result is a visual language that gives Siremuse a strong connection to its territory while simultaneously opening a dialogue with a broader, contemporary audience.
