Giovanna Brambilla is a lecturer in Iconography and Iconology at the Accademia di Belle Arti di Siracusa MADE Program.
Giovanna Brambilla, an art historian, serves as the Head of Educational Services at GAMeC - Galleria d’Arte Moderna e Contemporanea in Bergamo. In this role, she focuses on the relationship between the museum and its potential audiences, with particular attention to issues of access and inclusion. Her academic background includes a specialization course in General and Museum Education from the University of Roma Tre, a specialization in Communication and Intercultural Mediation from the University of Bergamo, a School of Specialization in Art History from the University of Milan, and a specialization course in "Communication in Educational Environments" from the University of Siena.
Currently, she teaches in the Master’s programs in "Economics and Management of Cultural Heritage" at the Business School of Il Sole 24 Ore and "Educational Services for Artistic Heritage, Historical Museums, and Visual Arts" at the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart in Milan. In 2019, she delivered a lecture at the School of Heritage - Foundation School of Cultural Heritage and Activities, MIBAC. In 2020, she conducted a training course for the Lombardy Museum Network. Since September 2020, she has been appointed as a member of the Diocesan Commission for Sacred Art in Bergamo.
