Fashion designer and clothing patternmaker, Giorgia Salvo has combined her roles as couturier and teacher since the beginning of her career. Currently a lecturer in Patternmaking and Sewing at the Accademia di Belle Arti di Siracusa, she opened her atelier in 2007, where she designs and creates her haute couture and bridal collections. Her collections have been showcased at prestigious events, including in Paris, earning her multiple accolades as the best Sicilian fashion designer.
After years of studying and deepening her expertise, she ventured into men's tailoring. Drawing from her extensive field experience and years of teaching at various academies and institutions, she developed her own custom tailoring method for men in 2020, which she later adapted for women. This led to the creation of Giorgia Salvo Couture Lab, an educational workshop where she teaches custom cutting and sewing techniques, integrating technical training with knowledge of materials, colors, and shapes that define style.
