The Mediterranean Table

Anno accademico

«Ceramics have been around forever, for five or six thousand years, ceramics have been around for an enormous number of years – sweet as bread and even older than bread. They are older than the Bible and Jesus Christ, older than all the poems ever written, older than goats and cats, older than all the houses, older than all the metals. Ceramics are as old as mammoth teeth, as bear ribs, as reindeer antlers.” Ettore Sottsass

A project that saw the participation – under the guidance of the Moncada Rangel Studio – of MADE design students via distance learning, called to reinterpret, working through the forms, the surfaces, and the colors, a ceramic table service that evoked the concept of the Mediterranean Table.
