He teaches Philosophy at the Politecnico di Torino and also serves as a visiting lecturer in Curation, Visual Arts, and Writing at NABA in Milan and the Scuola Holden in Turin. He regularly writes for Domus, Corriere della Sera, and L'Espresso. As a curator, he founded the platform Waiting Posthuman Studio, which has overseen projects in Europe and South America. As an entrepreneur, he co-founded Walden Milano, a hub for events, food, and innovation, where he serves as the artistic curator.
Caffo has authored around twenty books, including "La vita di ogni giorno" (Einaudi, 2016), "Fragile Umanità" (Einaudi, 2017), "Vegan" (Einaudi, 2018), "Il cane e il filosofo" (Mondadori, 2020), "Dopo il Covid-19" (Nottetempo, 2020), "Quattro capanne" (Nottetempo, 2020), and "Intromettersi" (Elèuthera, 2020). He co-directs the journal Critical Studies Animot and has been part of several editorial boards, including Rivista di Estetica and Ardeth. He won the International Frascati Prize for Philosophy in 2015.
Caffo is also the author and host of the Radio 3 RAI show "L’Umanità e altri animali" and has previously worked for RSI – Radio Svizzera Italiana and various local radio stations. Occasionally, he appears as a TV commentator, regularly contributing to the LA7 show "Tagadà."
