Studio Lievito

Studio Lievito, based in Florence and founded in 2012 by Laura Passalacqua, Francesco Taviani, and Jacopo Volpi, promotes a concept of 'slow design' that transforms the ordinary into the extraordinary by engaging users in a continuous pursuit of the unexpected. Their interdisciplinary approach and creative vision, bordering on artistic practice, allow Studio Lievito to engage in design fluidly, moving seamlessly from product design to space design, and even to installations.

Currently, the studio collaborates with several design brands, including JCP Universe, Opinion Ciatti, UpGroup, Styl’Edition, Savio Firmino, Pibamarmi, and MaVoix. They showcase their collections in galleries and online stores such as Artemest, 1st Dibs, and Pamono, and are represented by Galerie Philia. The studio has been selected to participate in national and international exhibitions, including 'Under 35. Italian Design' curated by the Triennale Design Museum.

Additionally, Studio Lievito collaborates with museums and cultural institutions, as well as with academies and universities such as MADE, IED, and the University of Florence, to offer teaching and workshops.
